In the middle of Stuttgart, but not really of this world: an overgrown garden with an enchanted house inside. Some call it the blackberry castle. The walls and floorboards whisper stories that we want to collect together. Who were the two architecture students who once lived here and around whom vague memories entwine, like the blackberry bushes around the old walls? What were their names? Where did they disappear to? Where did they wash up, where did they have breakfast? Was there something going on between them? Who lived before them, who lived after them in these officially uninhabitable rooms? In the all-renewing Mayzwischen/ding, we try out a special form of co-creative site inspection. Listening, we enter a dwelling place of the unknown, a storehouse of faded traces of life. Writing, lingering, individually and together, we will explore its texture. Please bring writing utensils (digital or analog) and a willingness to be haunted.
