Dornhaldenfriedhof Cemetery

Like the Waldfriedhof cemetery, the Dornhalden cemetery is located in a former forest. In 1977, the RAF terrorists Andreas Baader, Gudrun Ensslin and Jan-Carl Raspe were buried here amid great protest. The mayor of Stuttgart at the time, Manfred Rommel, ended the discussion with the words: "Every enmity has to end somewhere; and for me, in this case, it ends in death".
