Forest, water and far-reaching views - enjoy nature with a swim near Fichtenberg

This varied family hike starts at the Tälestraße/Hauptstraße junction in Fichtenberg and combines enjoyment of nature, exercise and a refreshing swim. You soon leave the village and ascend via the Schützenhaus in the direction of Langert, where the first beautiful views of the wooded surroundings open up.

From there, the trail leads mainly through shady sections of forest down to Fornsbach and the popular Waldsee lake in the Murrhardt leisure area. Here, the clear water invites you to take a well-earned dip - ideal for warm days and children with a thirst for discovery. If you like, you can refresh yourself at the kiosk or in the Kulinarium restaurant before a round of mini golf provides additional fun.

Well recovered, you continue along a quiet forest path above the Plapphof to the Rupphof and then a little steeper up to the ski jump. Once you reach the top, you are rewarded with an impressive panoramic viewof the upper Murrtal valley - a perfect moment to pause for a moment. The way back down to Fichtenberg is relaxed.
