Das Gerber: Stadtkaufhaus an der Paulinenbrücke
Around 25,000 square meters of retail space, spread over three levels and accessible via three main entrances, spacious shopping streets and a shop front that is almost a kilometer long: this is the GERBER shopping center in the heart of Stuttgart's city centre.
The shopping center opened its doors for the first time on September 23, 2014 and now has 86 stores and eateries to shop and enjoy.
With one entrance each in Tübinger Straße, Sophienstraße and Marienstraße, as well as five other entrances directly into stores, the GERBER is more closely connected to its surroundings than few other shopping centers.
The shopping center was designed by the Ippolito Fleitz Group and lighting designer Gerd Pfarré. In addition to the shopping streets, the fittings in the individual stores are also of a high standard.
In terms of tenants, the GERBER offers something special, often extraordinary and unique for shopping mall and district developments in Germany.
The basement, for example, is home to Stuttgart's largest range of local shopping facilities: the main tenants are ALDI, EDEKA and dm with a total of over 5,000 square meters. The food halls on this level also offer a wide range of restaurants - something for every culinary taste.
In the Fashion & Lifestyle area, H&M, Jack & Jones, Vero Moda, Mango and ELB are the highlights. As a special feature, we were able to attract Urban Outfitters and Superdry with flagship stores. INTERSPORT Voswinkel complements the sports range, Werdich the footwear range. And with Osiander, we have probably the most successful bookstore concept in Germany today at GERBER.
