While the subway sleepily chugs away at Ostendplatz, the first guests grab their espresso at KiOst. As the morning progresses, the Lamarzocco machine heats up and the seats are boarded, either at the counter inside or sunbathing on the windowsill outside, depending on the weather. The kiosk on the corner of Ostendstrasse and Haußmannstrasse is not just a cult place, it is one of those happy places that unite people. Craftsmen or students: the neighborhood knows and waves to each other, takes a break and has a chat. In addition to tobacco, beer, chocolate and more, the range also includes regional products such as coffee from the neighboring "Schwarzmahler" and curated journals, magazines and coffee table books.
