Murrhardt

The town of Murrhardt with its c. 14,000 inhabitants is located in the middle of the Swabian-Franconian Forest in the district of Rems-Murr, at an altitude between 279 and 550 metres above sea level. It directly borders on the districts of Ostalbkreis in the southeast and Schwäbisch Hall in the northeast. Though it lies in a rural area, Murrhardt belongs to the Stuttgart Region conurbation and marks its northeastern boundary.
