Weinfactum eG

The area around Bad Cannstatt was already popular with the Romans because of the ideal conditions it offers for the more demanding varieties of grapes. And it still continues to produce outstanding wines today. To Bad Cannstatt’s vintners, quality has priority over quantity, and their vineyards are found in only the best locations. As a result, their wines are regularly rewarded with numerous accolades, for example in the 2015 Gault & Millau Weinguide.

Directly below the Römerkastell (formerly the site of a Roman fort), there’s a vineyard which offers a beautiful view over Bad Cannstatt. On the adjoining estate belonging to the Weinfactum eG, you can sample exquisite wines during a wine tasting while enjoying the view over the vineyards at the same time. It’s also well worth taking a short stroll through the Römerkastell and the adjoining travertine park.
