Beyond the Hoppenlau Cemetery lies another important part of Stuttgart’s history. This is where the global concern of Bosch has its origins.
The ‘Workshop for Precision and Electrical Engineering’ founded by Robert Bosch moved to this site in 1901. Although the complex was severely damaged in the Second World War, certain details still bear witness to its industrial roots. Today it is a modern, urbane centre comprising gastronomy, shopping and leisure options and a cinema.
