DAV Climbing Centre Stuttgart

This Way

in 2.9 Kilometer Start Route

Since 2009, Stuttgart has had one of the world’s largest climbing facilities. With walls up to 16m high, over 4,000 sqm of climbing space, around 460 different climbing routes, 300 sqm of bouldering space and a generous café area, we have everything you need for climbing, and much more.

Whatever the weather, you can climb in the outdoors facility or in the large, spectacular halls. Fans of mountain climbing in the Waldau can meet up for a climb in any weather! Climb a few routes in the sun after work and then do some more training in the hall. This combination of indoor and outdoor facilities as well as the size, with overhangs of up to 17m, is unique in Baden-Württemberg. If you wanted to climb all of the routes you would have to climb more than 6 kilometres!

The climbing facility isn’t just perfect for climbers who have mastered the safety techniques. Beginners will also enjoy it here, although you must book an appointment in advance.
