7. Stuttgarter Weihnachtssingen

A countdown to the holidays without Christmas caroling in Stuttgart? That's simply unthinkable now! And so we can proudly announce: On Sunday, December 21, 2025 at 5:00 pm, the 7th Stuttgart Christmas Singing 2025 will take place at the GAZi Stadium on the Waldau. The heart-warming concept has not changed for the 7th edition: come together, sing together, feel the solidarity and enjoy the anticipation of Christmas. The tireless motivator, lead singer and pacemaker of the stadium choir is - as always, of course! - Patrick Bopp, musically supported by regional church music director Matthias Hanke, the tried and tested Christmas carol band and the brass ensemble EJUS.
The brilliant basic idea of this event has become a tradition in just a few years: singing Christmas together just before Christmas Eve, across all religious, generational and social boundaries. There are several good reasons why the Stuttgart Christmas carol service has been able to establish itself so quickly since its premiere in 2019. One of them is the atmospheric location in the seasonally decorated GAZi stadium under the Stuttgart TV tower. Another is "lead singer" Patrick Bopp, known from the FÜENF, who leads the traditionally numerous young Christmas fans and families through the unorthodox program of Christmas classics, pop hits and children's songs as a humorous master of ceremonies on the piano. The song lyrics for singing along are projected onto the big screen and LED strips. The most important reason has nothing to do with outward appearances: it is the sense of community with goosebumps guaranteed that arises when several thousand Christmas fans sing down the countdown to the festive season!
With so many positive vibes, it is only logical that the organizers put themselves at the service of a good cause right from the start. Part of the proceeds will therefore be donated to two wonderful organizations: the Stiftung Singen mit Kindern (https://singen-mit-kindern.de) and the Kinderturnstiftung Baden-Württemberg (https://www.kinderturnstiftung-bw.de).

The organizer of the Stuttgart Christmas Singing is the Evangelical Church in Württemberg, and the Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart and its DJK Diocesan Sports Association, the Evangelical Youth Association in Württemberg, the Office for Sport and Exercise of the state capital Stuttgart, the Rosenau Stuttgart and the Stuttgarter Kickers are also involved with great commitment and passion.

Duration: 2 x 45 minutes including a 15-minute break like a soccer match

Stage & video board: The stage is located on the pitch in front of the G-Block / West Stand, behind it is the video board on which the texts are displayed

Livestream: The event will also be streamed live on the internet
Moderation & guidance: Guided and humorously moderated by Patrick Bopp alias Memphis from the vocal comedy group "Die Füenf" and initiator of the sing-along series "Aus voller Kehle für die Seele".

Sing along and do good: A tradition that we are keeping: part of the proceeds will go to two organizations that are committed to helping children in the most positive way possible: the Kinderturnstiftung Baden-Württemberg and the "Singen mit Kindern" foundation.
