A musical comedy featuring big hits and beautiful furniture
Anniversaries are meant to be celebrated! Just over 50 years ago, the first German IKEA store was opened, and at the same time, ABBA won the Grand Prix—reason enough for store manager Inka to throw a huge party at her local furniture store.
The ABBAtars from London are set to perform—the holograms from the original ABBA shows. The plan is perfect, but the execution is, well… not so much. Because the projector for the big company event fell off the truck… Uppsala! Now the staff has to come up with a solution.
Klaus from the warehouse has a brilliant idea: “Let’s just do it ourselves!” And so Inka, Klaus, accountant Erwin—who was dumped by his wife at the thrift store—and the energetic Anke from Småland transform into “Dancing Queens.” If that doesn’t end in a “Waterloo” among the Billy bookcases… But hey, “The Winner Takes It All!”
