Abschlussevent: Heimat(en) gestalten
- Location:
- StadtPalais - Museum für Stuttgart, Konrad-Adenauer-Straße 2, 70173 Stuttgart
- Date

The closing event of "Heimat(en) schaffa: Invisible Feelings - Visible Realities" marks the ceremonial and discursive conclusion of a project that has created space for personal and collective explorations of home(s) in Stuttgart over the past few months.
On this day, the various levels of the project come together:
- Heimat as an inner, emotional experience: In a panel discussion and accompanying mini-exhibition, artistic and biographical works are presented that show how people in Stuttgart feel, question or redefine home.
- Heimat as lived practice: At the stands of various project communities and initiatives, visitors can experience how Heimat(s) are shaped in everyday life - as empowerment spaces, as a level of political action and as lived diversity.
- Heimat as social perception: On stage, artistic contributions, performative elements and reflections show how Heimat(s) are perceived in the mirror of the majority society - and how communities position themselves in this image or set new narratives.
A special highlight is the auction of artistic and emotional works from the "Feeling at home" workshop: Here, personal expressions of home(s) are made visible and negotiated in a new value context.
Parallel to this, speed dating formats invite visitors to engage in dialog with authors, artists and representatives of the culture of remembrance. Here, the audience can share their own impressions, ask questions and develop networking perspectives.
Aim of the event: The closing event creates space for encounters, exchanges and celebrations - and at the same time for a critical look at the question: How can a pluralistic urban society continue to work on open, inclusive spaces of home(s)?
With the brochure "Who we are and what we want" and the walk-in exhibition, the results of the project are made visible and available for further work in the city, communities and institutions.
