A Musical Evening with
ALFONS & Gérard Daguerre
One is the Germans’ favorite Frenchman, the other the French’s favorite pianist: Alfons,
the cult reporter, storyteller, and “fluffy philosopher” in his orange tracksuit jacket. And:
Gérard Daguerre, keyboard wizard and longtime musical director for chanson legends such as
Charles Aznavour, Joe Dassin, and the magnificent Barbara, whom he accompanied musically
for over a decade. Together, the two friends bring this unique labor of love, full of
history and stories, to the stage: incredible anecdotes, sparkling humor—and above
all: magnificent music.
