From spa town to industrial city.

Nothing is more contradictory than a spa town full of baths and cultural events and an industrial town with factories and supply traffic. Bad Cannstatt was both. Nowhere is this more evident than in the Kurpark, where the cradle of the automobile lies right next to the Kursaal. From there, the path leads to the historic old town with its mineral water fountains and wine taverns.
