In terms of equal opportunities, self-determined participation and involvement in social processes, access to culture is necessary for all people, both with and without disabilities.
In order to enable people with disabilities to participate, it is important that cultural institutions and cultural actors think and act inclusively. This is easier said than done. In this workshop, we will clarify what framework conditions are needed for this and who and what we mean by this. We will also learn about the individual needs and potential barriers that need to be considered. People with disabilities will have their say and talk about their own experiences and needs. The two-day basic workshop raises awareness and introduces the topic of inclusion.
