Boondawg - 10 Lap Tour

As one of the most influential figures in the modern German trap scene, Düsseldorf-based rapper Boondawg proves that the American-inspired rage and trap sound à la Playboi Carti or Yeat works here in Germany, too. Thanks to his ties to the international rap scene, the artist began his career rapping in English before switching to German-language music in 2022. And success wasn’t long in coming: Just one year later, he released “GANGSIGNS,” a song that catapulted Boondawg into the big leagues of German rap virtually overnight and remains his most successful release to date, with nearly 10 million streams on Spotify. Many more milestones followed.

Whether through album releases that have shaped the German trap scene or collaborations with genre heavyweights like Apsilon, Souly, Thizzy52, or Blumengarten— Boondawg has managed, ever since his 2023 debut tape “SAY LESS,” to stay in the spotlight and remain a top player in the German rap scene. And it looks like this momentum will continue, as the release of his new project “Godspeed” is just around the corner. As part of this, the rapper will embark on a 10-stop tour next spring, with Gard joining him as a special guest.

Born and raised in Düsseldorf, Arman Nshogoza—Boondawg’s real name—was introduced to U.S. rap at an early age through his uncle. In 2019, his fandom suddenly turned into a personal project, and Boondawg began making music.

With his previous releases “SAY LESS” (2023), “KULT” (2024), and “DON’T TRY THIS AT HOME” (2025), the rapper has organically built his successful career over the past few years. This year, “Godspeed” and the accompanying 10 Lap Tour will mark the next milestones.
