Brauereiführung Samstag
Duration
150 minutes
A 2.5-hour guided tour of Stuttgart’s oldest family-owned brewery
Beer has been brewed on Tübinger Straße since 1888—and that’s exactly where your journey begins. We’ll take you to where the beer is truly made: through the brewhouse, past the fermentation and storage tanks, and down into the historic Karlshöhe storage cellar, which was carved deep into the rock of the Karlshöhe. We’ll kick things off with a fresh-from-the-keg welcome beer in our shop before guiding you through the most important areas of the family-owned brewery. To wrap things up, enjoy a guided beer tasting featuring five small pours from our brand portfolio—Dinkelacker, Schwaben Bräu, Sanwald, Wulle, and Cluss. Afterward, it’ll be clear who can separate the wheat from the chaff: With your personal beer connoisseur certificate in hand, you’ll know more about beer than 95 percent of your friends at your next regulars’ table.

Note to the participants
Unfortunately, the tour is not wheelchair-accessible—the route goes through the brewery and down into the storage cellar, and there are several changes in elevation along the way.
For the beer tasting, the minimum age is 16.
