Ten years after their last album, Breakdown of Sanity are returning with a new chapter. On November 6, 2026, the Swiss metalcore band will release their fifth studio album, *Reveries*. The album also lends its name to the upcoming REVERIES TOUR 2027.
Since their formation in 2007, Breakdown of Sanity have carved out a solid place for themselves in the European metalcore scene. With albums like *Mirrors* and, in particular, *Perception*, the band made a name for themselves far beyond the Swiss scene. Their most recent studio album to date, *Coexistence*, followed in 2016.
After a hiatus of several years, Breakdown of Sanity returned in 2020 with new music. They also returned to the stage starting in 2024. A lot has changed since then. Following changes on drums and vocals, the band now features a new lineup, without losing sight of what has defined Breakdown of Sanity for nearly two decades.
Massive breakdowns, melodic guitars, raw emotion, and songs about personal struggles as well as social issues continue to form the core of their sound on *Reveries*.
In the spring of 2027, the band will finally bring their new album to European stages. The REVERIES TOUR combines new material with the songs that have made Breakdown of Sanity a household name within the metalcore scene over the past few years.
