CAFÉ BACH - Ein Haus voller Schätze
- Location:
- Konzertsaal Bachakademie Stuttgart, Hasenbergsteige 3, 70178 Stuttgart
The "Bosehaus", which today houses the Bach Archive and Bach Museum, is one of the oldest buildings in Leipzig's St. Thomas Churchyard. In Bach's time, the Bose merchant family, who were friends of his family, lived here, while Bach and his family lived directly opposite in the old Thomasschule.
With the Bach Museum and its valuable collection, we are bringing the first Bach site outside of Stuttgart into our home - more will follow.
We are looking forward to our joint expedition into the interior of one of Leipzig's most bulging treasure chests - expertly guided by museum director Kerstin Wiese.
