Carte Blanche#3

Location:
Gustav-Siegle-Haus Stuttgart, Leonhardsplatz 28, 70182 Stuttgart

For the CARTE BLANCHE series, the Stuttgart Philharmonic invites guests who have performed as soloists in its major concerts. We have asked them to give us and our audience a more or less spontaneous, intimate chamber music concert. We will announce the exact programs in due time.

Michael Shaham, violin
The young violinist Michael Shaham comes from a family of musicians. He received early support through scholarships from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation and the Jerusalem Music Center. He studied at the renowned Curtis Institute of Music and is currently studying at the Kronberg Academy. Shaham was a prize winner at the Fritz Kreisler Competition in Vienna and the isaChallenge.
We have asked Michael Shaham to present his own program of choice for his “Carte blanche.”

He will perform with the Stuttgart Philharmonic on Saturday, April 24, as part of the “Große Reihe” series, presenting Paganini’s Violin Concerto No. 2, “La Campanella,” and Franz Waxman’s “Carmen Fantasy” to the audience.
