Carte Blanche#4

Location:
Gustav-Siegle-Haus Stuttgart, Leonhardsplatz 28, 70182 Stuttgart

For the CARTE BLANCHE series, the Stuttgart Philharmonic invites guests who have distinguished themselves as soloists in the orchestra’s major concerts. We have asked them to present a more or less spontaneous, intimate chamber music concert for us and our audience. We will announce the exact programs in due time.

Collegium Iuvenum Stuttgart Boys’ Choir
Conductor Sebastian Kunz
With its high musical quality, the Collegium Iuvenum Boys’ Choir helps shape the cultural life of the Stuttgart region and regularly performs beyond the region and internationally. The boys’ choir, organized as a choir school, begins its systematic work with young musicians as early as preschool age. The choir views its work not only in purely musical terms but also as a holistic educational mission. The joy of singing together, mutual trust, and a spirit of cooperation are hallmarks of the CIS. As part of “Carte blanche,” the boys’ and men’s voices will perform a program they have previously presented abroad.

The collegium iuvenum will perform with the Stuttgart Philharmonic on Friday, June 18, 2027, as part of a performance of Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana.”
