One question, 60 conversations: 48 illustrators against anti-Semitism, hatred and racism

"How are you?" - A simple question, but under the impression of the suffering of the people as a result of the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023 and the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, there is also speechlessness and a deep social division in our country.

At the beginning of 2024, a group of renowned German comic artists initiated the project Wie geht es dir? - Cartoonists against anti-Semitism, hatred and racism. The 48 cartoonists spoke to 60 people who are affected by anti-Semitism, hatred and racism or who deal with misanthropic ideologies. They include celebrities, but also private acquaintances of the authors.

The different, touching and also encouraging perspectives paint a polyphonic picture. The 60 one-page comics are drawn dialogues against speechlessness and polarization.

The exhibition is particularly suitable for young people, which is why guided tours are also offered for secondary school classes.

The exhibition and the accompanying program are being held in cooperation with Kubus e.V. The Heinrich Böll Foundation Baden-Württemberg is showing the exhibition with partners in the state and aims to facilitate discussions and encounters.

Exhibition duration: Wed, December 3 to Tue, December 9
