Nicoletta loves December—the darkness, the lights, the smell of cookies, secrets, and stories. Just like back then, when her grandma told her the story of the chocolate ship. Don’t know that one yet? Then listen up: On St. Nicholas Eve, little Cäcilie spots a magnificent chocolate ship in the window of Trinchen Mutser’s candy store. She dreams about it and wishes that St. Nicholas would bring it to her. But that night, as St. Nicholas and Knecht Ruprecht are on their way, they realize: there’s no gift for Cäcilie! Will her wish come true anyway?
