Das Tagebuch der Anne Frank
- Location:
- Altes Schauspielhaus, Kleine Königstr. 9, 70178 Stuttgart
The diary that Anne Frank kept from June 12, 1942, to August 1, 1944, is one of the most widely read books in the world. It has been published in millions of copies in dozens of languages and continues to move
both young people and adults to this day. Anne Frank’s story stands as a symbol for all those who fell victim to anti-Semitism and brutal persecution under the criminal Nazi regime.
Director Lena Roth and Sabine Soydan, in the role of Anne Frank, sensitively bring the young Jewish girl’s story to life on stage. The production at the Theater unterm Dach is aimed at both young people and adults alike. “One of the wisest and most moving commentaries on war and its impact on people that I have ever read.” (Eleanor Roosevelt)
