Congratulations! The Komödie im Marquardt is turning 75—come celebrate with us!
In 1951, the Komödie moved into the Golden Hall in the Marquardt Building. Today, we look back on an eventful past: countless premieres, performances, celebrations, applause, and moments of joy. Join us on a journey through time, exploring 75 years of theater history filled with memories and stage highlights.
In “The 75th Birthday,” everything revolves around an anniversary revue that a motley crew of organizers is tasked with putting together. After various discussions, compromises, and changes to the plan, they pull off an impressive show that brings the history of the Komödie back to life: from musicals to dialect plays, from classics to crime comedies, and from Heesters to Hirschle.
The anniversary revue is directed by Christine Gnann, who has already demonstrated her keen sense for handling historical figures and events in “Häberle und Pfleiderer.”
Celebrate with us and our ensemble, featuring Monika Hirschle, Jörg Pauly, Reinhold Weiser, Gideon Rapp, Bianca Spiegel, and Bernadette Hug. A birthday celebration full of charm, wit, and music—just like our comedy.
