The Nutcracker – A Ballet Fairy Tale with Narrator
based on Pyotr Tchaikovsky
Bohemia Ballet Usti
When Christmas Eve transforms into a sparkling fairy tale, one of the most beautiful stories in ballet literature begins:
Little Clara receives a nutcracker as a gift, which comes to life that night. What follows is a dreamlike journey full of imagination, courage, and magic—from the battle against the Mouse King to the dazzling realm of the Sugar Plum Fairy. This special family-friendly adaptation is accompanied by a sensitive narrator who gently guides both children and adults through the story and brings the action on stage to life. This makes the classic masterpiece accessible even to young audiences and turns it into an unforgettable theatrical experience.
Magical Lighting Effects on Stage Selected dance scenes are enchanted by lovingly integrated LED elements in the costumes. Sparkling tutus, shimmering lights, and atmospheric electric candles create a fairy-tale atmosphere that brings the magic of Christmas to life.
The combination of classical ballet, a narrator’s commentary, and modern lighting design makes “The Nutcracker with a Narrator” an ideal Christmas production for the whole family—festive, touching, and full of magic.
