Deutscher Rotweinpreis: Publikumsverkostung «Rotwein-Festival Deutschland»

Duration

300 minutes

On Saturday, November 28, 2026, Stuttgart will be all about German red wine. That’s when VINUM will celebrate the 40th edition of the German Red Wine Award, one of the most traditional and important forums for top-quality red wines from Germany. At the Kursaal in Bad Cannstatt, the competition’s finest wines, award-winning winemakers, wine professionals, connoisseurs, and four decades of German red wine history will come together.

The 2026 German Red Wine Award is thus more than just an awards ceremony. It is an anniversary celebration, an exhibition of excellence, an industry gathering, a public festival, and an evening of indulgence all rolled into one. Forty years of the Red Wine Award also tell the story of forty years of new beginnings, ambition, changing styles, and growing self-confidence. And Stuttgart provides the perfect setting for this: urban, steeped in tradition, with a passion for enjoyment, and located in the heart of one of Germany’s most exciting red wine regions.

Discover the diversity of German red wines. Around 30 wineries will present their wines—including the award-winning wines from the “VINUM Red Wine Award 2026.” Meet the winemakers behind the wines, strike up a conversation with them in person, and taste Germany’s finest red wines.
