THE COMEDIAN HARMONISTS 100th Anniversary Concert Series
100 years of the Comedian Harmonists—a reason to celebrate! In 1927, the legendary ensemble came together; it soon took the world by storm, and its sound continues to shape the music world to this day. In 2019, the production “The Comedian Harmonists” at the Altes Schauspielhaus retold the group’s history. The audience was thrilled; the *Stuttgarter Zeitung* called it the “Miracle of Stuttgart.” Since then, the five singers and their pianist have been a permanent part of our repertoire.
To mark the anniversary, they are now presenting an expanded program. Even die-hard fans will be surprised. Several songs are new to the repertoire, and the story of the Comedian Harmonists is told from fresh perspectives. Immerse yourself in the ensemble’s past through fascinating anecdotes and join us on a journey back in time to the 1930s!
