Mirrors are not haunted - Justus Jonas, Peter Shaw and Bob Andrews are convinced of this. But when Peter falls into a strange trance the first time he looks into an old hall of mirrors and he hears strange operatic voices, the three detectives suspect that something is not right ... The phone rings at the Three?? headquarters. It's director Reginald Hitfield, who is looking for a very special stage set for a new opera production: a mysterious hall of mirrors that once belonged to the legendary opera diva Maria Callagria. But the object from the Villa Sittich seems to be cursed! Every time it is to be collected, the transporters flee in panic. Strange sounds, hypnotic voices and mirrors that show the past and the future pose a mystery for the three? What role do Callagria's missing voice, her mysterious manager Rex Jonathan and the strange signature "MRJ" play? And what is the opera frenzy really all about? Will the three detectives unravel the mystery of the hall of mirrors - or are they themselves part of a sinister production? For the first time, the three cult detectives from Rocky Beach take on a case on an opera stage. For the world premiere at the Stuttgart State Opera, author Martin G. Berger and composer Gordon Kampe are writing an opera thriller for fans of the Three?? and friends of opera: for the young, the young at heart and anyone who might want to become one! Director Anna Weber, who has shaken up the opera scene with her productions in recent years, brings the case to the stage.
