Die Münchner Lach- und Schießgesellschaft

The last must-see event of 2026! For many years, “Schimpf vor 12”—the Munich-based Lach- & Schießgesellschaft’s cabaret-style year-in-review show—was an integral part of German living rooms. Its sharp wit and humor sparked discussions that helped the entire nation get through the winter. In 2024, the Lach- & Schießgesellschaft revived this tradition with great success.

Through rhymes, pamphlets, and chansons, a new team takes a close look at the past twelve months: poetry slammer and linguistic acrobat Frank Klötgen, cabaret artist and stand-up comedian Claudia Pichler, and Lach- & Schieß director and cabaret philosopher Sven Kemmler. Composer Lukas Mario Meier accompanies them on the piano with elegance and verve.

And after the past two editions, we can promise this much: No year-in-review show covers more ground, none delves deeper—and when it comes to bite and wit, “Lach- & Schieß” is, by tradition, unsurpassed.
