Flash Forward - Splinter Tour 2027

In February 2027, FLASH FORWARD will usher in the next chapter of their band’s history with their new album, “SPLINTER.” The album will be released on the renowned British label SO Recordings—making FLASH FORWARD the first German band to sign with the label.

Musically, “SPLINTER” consistently builds on the path laid out by “RENEGADE”: The band returns to its roots and to heavier guitars, without sacrificing its characteristic pop-infused catchiness and massive melodies. Hard rock and pop have never been so closely intertwined in FLASH FORWARD’s music. The album is rounded out by top-notch guest appearances from fellow bands such as the Emil Bulls, Mallory Knox, Chaosbay, Lifespark, Pentastone, and Vasi.

In terms of content, SPLINTER is the most uncompromisingly honest and personal album in the band’s history. The focus is on topics such as neurodiversity, ADHD, mental health, and the phenomenon of so-called “masking”—the act of putting on a facade for years, constantly adapting and meeting expectations while inner stress mounts.

With the singles “EXIT GAME,” “DOWN AT THE BOTTOM” (feat. Emil Bulls), and “WRONG,” FLASH FORWARD has already delivered the first thrilling previews of the new album. Starting in late February 2027, the band will bring this new energy to stages across Germany on their major headlining tour.
