Heading into the New Year with GPS: Glasperlenspiel are opening a new chapter and presenting
their duo shows—conceived exclusively for the album “GPS 26” (release date: 10/27)—as a 360° event featuring
music, visuals, fashion, and live performance. On a club tour through nine German
cities, Carolin Niemczyk and Daniel Grunenberg will celebrate their new album with their fans.

As one of Germany’s most successful pop duos, Glasperlenspiel has been part of the
DNA of German pop music ever since their breakthrough debut “Beweg dich mit mir”; all of their albums

have reached the top of the German charts and received gold and platinum
certifications. “Geiles Leben” from the album “Tag X” cemented their status as top stars and,

with over a million sales and a Diamond Award, ranks among the country’s best-selling German
singles. From “DSDS” to “The Masked Singer”—Caro and Daniel have been

at the center of attention ever since, until a creeping identity crisis led them to Seoul:
“At some point, GLASPERLENSPIEL became bigger than ourselves. We desperately needed to get out of
our usual environment,” says Daniel. Out of pop autopilot, into culture clash
and freedom: “For the first time in a long time, making music felt easy and carefree
again,” Caro explains. The new songs on “GPS 26” blend electro-pop, EDM, house, UK
garage, dubstep, rap, and K-pop—like a journey through Seoul’s nightlife.
With this, Glasperlenspiel are ushering in a new era: The catchy tracks and danceable bangers
from their fifth album are meant to be performed live in a high-energy, high-octane style—and that’s what inspired the new
concerts: Caro and Daniel are billing the duo’s shows as a happening combining music,
visuals, fashion, and live performance!
