From January 13 to 31, 2027, Germany will be the center of the handball world: The 30th IHF Men’s Handball World Championship will bring together the best teams on the planet in six cities—Munich, Kiel, Stuttgart, Magdeburg, Hanover, and Cologne. Under the motto “Where handball is alive,” fans can look forward to thrilling matches and a World Championship taking place right where handball is lived and breathed.
In Stuttgart, two preliminary round groups (Group B and Group D) will compete at the 2027 World Championship from January 13 to 18.
