Dear audience, our new program is here! After focusing on the tax system and the healthcare system, this time we’ll be talking about communication.
Communication. A big promise. And we’ll deliver on that tonight, too. Promise!

Brigitte is a children’s book author—and unemployed. Sure, these days AI writes all that stuff. She’s a little envious of her best friend, Gala. Gala’s an influencer who’s raking in money like hay—all without any real content.

But then, out of the blue, a job offer comes from the Black-and-White House: The president has a
communication problem (apparently, that happens). A strange egg is floating in the air. He’s really mad because
it’s ruining his nice poll numbers. The egg has long since gone viral. Googlehupf and
FinstaKram have unleashed their algorithms to turn “users’” fears into profits…
Now the task is to explain this situation to the public in simple language so that no one freaks out. Will Brigitte manage to find the “right” words? Do such words even exist?

Every act of communication is unique. It’s no coincidence that the word “unique” is already embedded in the word “comm-UNI-cation”!
It can enlighten and exhilarate us. It can hurt, but fortunately, it can also bring us together.
It’s also often ambivalent—especially when we engage in nonviolent dialogue with one another.

But much is conveyed without words. And when that happens, there’s only one thing that helps: singing! You can’t sing and be afraid at the same time. Together with musician Jonathan Bratoëf, we’ll attempt—quite obviously reading between the lines and drawing on Schulz von Thun’s communication theories—to say a lot and yet very little about what you should know about communication.
