Mr. Nuss is a friendly, endearing man who has made the streets his home and sings all day long. He loves music, especially songs and operas. In the evenings, he tells his story, drawing the audience deeper and deeper into his spell—and at the same time, pulling them down with him—down into his dark secrets.

“Mr. Nuss” is a wild mix of bouffon theater, a song recital with a cassette recorder, and biting criticism of the powerful men in the world of culture and beyond.
