A dance theater about loneliness in Udo Jürgens' songs. O Solitude I

"I'm playing a song for all those who are lonely" sings one of them in the midst of cheering fans. Someone who dreams of togetherness but experiences loneliness. Time and again in his songs - even in the most cheerful catchy tunes - Udo Jürgens tells of an unfulfilled longing for love, of hopelessness and oppressive loneliness.

We give a real body to this self that speaks out musically, that doubts itself and its life, and tell its story through dance. Because what the voice does not know (or dare?) to say, only dance can show:

The story of a man who rebels against honorable society, who wants to escape from all constraints, but even after 66 years - in the park or in the hustle and bustle of the big city - is still looking for the love of his life. And for whom, alone at home at night, only the fridge provides light and warmth - the glimmer of hope that the sun will rise again the next morning.
