With Martin Kälberer, all these instruments merge into a single, vast soundscape. As if in a trance, he plays several instruments one after another or even simultaneously, records them, adds others, and thus builds his floating and pulsating soundscapes.

His new album, *INTO THE LIGHT*, will first be released in November 2025 as a “Limited Vinyl Edition”—featuring two tracks recorded directly onto vinyl using the direct-cut process.

Starting January 30, the accompanying CD will be available, featuring additional new compositions that Martin Kälberer is now also performing live on the “INTO THE LIGHT – TOUR.”

In these performances, the fusion of acoustic and electronic sounds becomes more intense than ever. For with the rediscovery of some old analog synthesizers—which had been gathering dust in his sound archive for many years—a new window has opened into Martin Kälberer’s sonic cosmos. Like a new dimension, the shimmering, rich, and often pulsating electronic sounds expand the soundscape without being dominant or aggressive.

Yet everything remains spontaneous and handcrafted, intuitive and ethereal.

Music that transcends all genres—moving and, at times, otherworldly.
