Austrian cabaret artist, author, actor, and film director Josef Hader likes to create and portray, in his films such as “Indien”and “Wilde Maus,” as well as in his current stage play “Hader on Ice,” he enjoys portraying lonely, frustrated characters who yearn for the past and navigate a moral gray area. Hader’s characters are both endearing and terrifying in their vulnerable melancholy. Josef Hader drives his points home until it hurts. He uniquely combines cynicism with dark Austrian humor. In this personal conversation, we’ll get to know the multidisciplinary artist Josef Hader and gain a deeper insight into his multifaceted fictional characters. The series of benefit events in support of TelefonSeelsorge Stuttgart e.V. is now in its eighth year: interesting and nationally renowned personalities offer insights into their lives and work. The conversation will be led by SWR host and journalist Georg Bruder. The patron of the benefit event is Rezzo Schlauch, former Member of the German Bundestag.
