What if, after Romeo’s death, Juliet didn’t die—but instead got a second chance at life and love? That’s exactly what & JULIA – The Pop Musical is all about: a sassy, whirlwind, and surprisingly modern retelling of Shakespeare’s most famous love story. Following its acclaimed success in Hamburg, this feel-good musical is moving on and will celebrate its premiere at the Stage Palladium Theater in Stuttgart starting in the fall of 2026.
The tragic ending becomes a euphoric new beginning—fast-paced, colorful, and full of joie de vivre. & JULIA combines humor, heart, and empowerment into a rousing comedy where the 16th century meets the biggest pop hits of our time. With songs like “Roar” by Katy Perry, “Can’t Stop The Feeling!” by Justin Timberlake, “Perfect” by P!nk, and many other global hits, Julia’s new story comes to life on stage.
