KOMPLETT ABSURD

Comedy has become a minefield these days. What’s still okay to laugh at? That’s a job for Maxi Gstettenbauer—the reliable mine-clearing expert among comedians.
Many consider satire a fine blade, but he prefers the axe. Why use a delicate foil when a chainsaw will do just as well?
With timing that would make even watches jealous, Gstettenbauer has worked his way up to become one of the country’s top comedians.
Privileged, wildly heterosexual, and utterly averse to sports, this dark-humored family man has the whole country in stitches. And he does it so skillfully that you find yourself wondering whether white men shouldn’t just be banned outright. Gstettenbauer
doesn’t wait for permission—he just grants it to himself—in consultation with his wife.

COMPLETELY ABSURD is the liberating roundhouse kick of German comedy. Hard-hitting jokes, fast-paced—straight out of real life. And it hits everyone who deserves it. It’s just so much more fun to dish it out when you’re the biggest joke yourself.
