Krawall & Katharsis

“Krawall” means upheaval and turmoil, while “Katharsis” means liberation or catharsis. This is the framework within which the format operates—yet at the same time, it defiantly defies any framework. For here, the stage belongs entirely to the assistant directors, dramaturgs, set designers, and costume assistants. On the green steps of the chamber foyer, there are no limits to the artistic freedom of these up-and-coming theater artists—everything is possible, nothing is required.
