The Protestant Education Center Hospitalhof and the IZKT of the University of Stuttgart invite you to the book presentation "Das stille Sterben der Natur" with Prof. Dr. Matthias Glaubrecht. At the Hospitalhof Stuttgart, he will talk about the causes and consequences of the worldwide extinction of species.
Unnoticed by many, more and more animals and plants are disappearing from the environment, which is increasingly endangering our livelihoods. Evolutionary biologist Matthias Glaubrecht has been explaining the importance of biodiversity and the devastating consequences of species extinction for years. He describes the reasons why we take the biodiversity crisis too little notice and too little seriously. He calls for action to finally be taken, for sufficiently large nature conservation areas to be consistently protected for functioning biocoenoses, for renaturation and for biodiversity research to be promoted.
