Musical goes Christmas

This evening, world-famous musical numbers will come together with the most beautiful Christmas carols—moving, rousing, and unforgettable. On December 14, 2026, “Musical goes Christmas” returns to the stage of the Apollo Theater in Stuttgart for the fourth time.

We’re looking forward to another top-notch cast this year.

Roberta Valentini—star of “Elisabeth” and, according to WDR, one of Europe’s most sought-after musical theater voices—will be joined this year for the first time by three male performers: audience favorites Karim Khawatmi and Maximilian Mann, as well as newcomer Riccardo Greco.

Karim Khawatmi has enjoyed great success with us in front of sold-out houses, tours internationally with the Da Capo Tour, and is a sought-after voice actor who can be heard, among other roles, in the film adaptation of “Moana.”

Starting in October, Maximilian Mann will finally be back on stage himself in Stuttgart in the lead role of William Shakespeare in “& Julia,” and—much to our delight—he’ll be both singing and hosting the evening in his incomparable, humorous style this year.

We’re delighted to welcome Riccardo Greco as a new addition to the cast; like Max, he has already played the role of Shakespeare in Hamburg and took on the same character last summer in “Something Rotten!” at the Bad Hersfeld Festival, where he was awarded the Audience Choice Award.

Look forward to many new songs, a few familiar Christmas classics, a very special, unusual unplugged segment, and a few surprises. As always, our fantastic musicalpeople live band will be there, along with the children’s choir from the Fanny-Leicht-Gymnasium in Stuttgart, which will add even more festive cheer to the evening.
