Starting in December 2026, the ensemble led by Matia Washington, Tyrone Flowers, and Ahmed Wallace will once again bring its unmistakable energy to stages across Germany. With powerful voices, rousing rhythms, and plenty of emotion, the New York Gospel Stars manage year after year to captivate their audience with gospel music and take them on a journey to the churches of New York. The choir first performed at the Christuskirche in Bochum in December 2008 and has thrilled over half a million visitors ever since! This year, gospel fans can once again look forward to rousing and emotional renditions of well-known Christmas carols and classic gospel songs. But that’s not all: the tour will continue after the holidays. Starting January 7, 2027, the New York Gospel Stars will bring a revised setlist and numerous new musical highlights to the stage. In total, the tour schedule includes more than 70 concerts. In addition to established gospel hotspots, the program once again features new venues throughout Germany. Whether it’s contemplative melodies during Advent or rousing hymns in the New Year—an evening with the New York Gospel Stars is far more than just an ordinary concert. It invites you to let go of everyday life for a moment and experience the pure energy of gospel music up close.
