Three young ensembles, three extraordinary concert programs, and a common theme: transcriptions of works by Johann Sebastian Bach.
Through the Nuovi talenti competition, il Gusto Barocco has been supporting outstanding young ensembles specializing in historical performance practice from around the world since 2024 and providing them with a professional platform. In the final concert, three ensembles will present the programs that impressed the jury during the preliminary round. They reinterpret Bach’s music for their own instrumentation, thereby revealing surprising timbres and perspectives.
But on this evening, the three finalists aren’t just performing for the jury—you get to vote, too!
