The open tower tour ÜBERBLICK takes place every Saturday at 5 pm and delivers what it promises:
Let your guide first explain the external features of the SWR television tower, then descend into the foundations and finally travel up to the viewing platform at a lofty 150 meters above the ground. You will learn amazing things about the building material, why the slender concrete needle does not tip over in the wind and what a "samba sock" has to do with the tower shaft.
The maximum number of participants is limited, so online booking is definitely recommended.

The tour ticket in electronic form.
Weatherproof clothing, as most of the tour takes place outdoors.
If you wish, your own headphones for our audio guides (optional).
Note to the participants
Please be at the TV tower at least 10 minutes before the start of the tour. Our guide will meet you at the main entrance.
After the tour, you can linger in the Panorama Café and enjoy the view from there. Unfortunately, it is not possible to make a reservation.
The guided tour of the TV tower is only partially barrier-free, as access to the foundations is only possible via a staircase. Information on this can be found on our website under Frequently Asked Questions.
Unfortunately, annual pass holders do not currently have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the weekend tour online. You will receive your ticket on site at a price of €12.
Please also note that it is not possible to drive up before the tour.
