Reading from the letters of Pali Meller As part of the Jewish Culture Weeks

Pali Meller worked as an assistant to architect Jacobus Johannes Pieter Oud on the Stuttgart Weissenhof Estate in 1927. As a Hungarian Jew, he was arrested in Berlin during the Nazi era - with tragic consequences for his single father's children. From prison, he wrote them 24 letters full of wit and affection before dying of tuberculosis in 1943.
Introduction by Anja Krämer, Director of the Weissenhof Museum in Le Corbusier House
Reading voice: Tobias Keil (voice teacher, opera singer)
