«PRSPKTVNWCHSL»

Location:
Theaterhaus, Siemensstr. 11, 70469 Stuttgart

In Sync and Out of Sync

“PRSPKTVNWCHSL” is a total work of art combining language, music, dance, and reversed roles. It’s being filmed; it’s about the wrong moment, the right timing, and the question: how much is left when half is missing? Where does one stand when viewed from the outside? How long do 5 minutes feel like? And what does she or he mean by “Hmm”? Hmm? These Swiss precision anarchists do what no one expects of them, exploring with precision and vigor precisely where others would rather stop.

Ursus & Nadeschkin love provocation, hate boredom, enjoy breaking the mold, and shape Swiss cultural heritage with their offbeat humor.

As passionate boundary-crossers, they’ve been touring for over 30 years between Zurich, Berlin, New York, Vienna, Melbourne, and Edinburgh, and love to jump back and forth between genres: from small theaters to television, from concert halls to the circus, or—as today—to the Schauspielhaus!

In short: They are among the best Switzerland has to offer when it comes to comedy.

(...) The highlight of the evening was the honorary award recipients Urs Wehrli and Nadja Sieger, who have been performing together as Ursus & Nadeschkin for 36 years, creating comedy together. With each of their precisely staged programs, the Swiss duo explores the depths and shallows between Dada, acrobatics, and concrete poetry, cabaret, and clowning—in a way that is unparalleled in the world of cabaret.
