Purple Disco Machine - Cosmotropia Live Tour 2027
After four completely sold-out concerts at the Dresden Zwinger over Pentecost 2026, drawing a total of 36,000 attendees, Purple Disco Machine continues its live success story: In the fall of 2027, the Grammy Award winner will hit the road with his new “Cosmotropia Live Tour 2027.” Six dates will take him to Germany: Cologne, Leipzig, Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, and Stuttgart.
The new live show centers on his fourth studio album, “COSMOTROPIA,” which will be released on April 30, 2027. Together with his band, vocalists, and dancers, Purple Disco Machine brings this new chapter in his musical journey to the stage.
With his unmistakable blend of disco, house, and funk, Purple Disco Machine has created a sound that has long transcended genre boundaries. What once began in Dresden clubs has evolved into an international success story.
With “COSMOTROPIA,” Purple Disco Machine takes this sound to the next level. Inspired by cosmic disco and space rock from the ’70s and ’80s, the album draws on influences from Pink Floyd, The Alan Parsons Project, Jean-Michel Jarre, Vangelis, and Kraftwerk, as well as the defining disco sounds from France, Italy, and Germany. “COSMOTROPIA” thus looks back on several decades of music history without getting lost in nostalgia.
At its core lies what has long distinguished Purple Disco Machine’s music: songs that aren’t just made for the dance floor, but have an impact far beyond it.
Since winning a Grammy in 2023 for his remix of Lizzo’s “About Damn Time,” Purple Disco Machine has been one of the most sought-after producers in his genre internationally. Hits like “Hypnotized,” “Dopamine,” and “Substitution,” as well as remixes for Dua Lipa, Elton John, Lady Gaga, and Mark Ronson, have made his sound famous worldwide.
