Scenic reading with live music from "Against Freedom", "Against Equality", "Against Fraternity"
In a total of 21 absurd scenes, Esteve Soler examines everyday life in today's Europe and sheds light on the term "freedom" from different perspectives. For example, there is a couple whose arranged marriage contract expires irreversibly, a man who is sent to the doctor because he has started reading, two dictators who discuss how to attract the right people, and many other absurd yet relatable scenes in the large collection, from which we make a selection for the staged reading. Not only are we reading, but the individual characters have developed in such a way that the text booklet only serves as a support. Transitions are arranged, live music is planned for the scenes and interludes.
A joint production by Dreigroschentheater Stuttgart and the group THEATERmachWERK, Stuttgart.

"Esteve Soler's revolution trilogy works with absurd, satirical and sometimes drastic images and exaggerated descriptions of our civilization. His strong scenes and pointed dialogs deal with human abysses. Soler's characters become unnoticed slaves to themselves and their humanity is relativized in surrealistic and at the same time apt views of freedom, equality and brotherhood. The laughter sticks in our throats." (Quote from the publisher)
